A 3.6-inch-deep interior is the number that sold us on this LTGEM case. Most hard cases here stop around 2.6 inches, which is fine for slim on-ears but can press on the cups of a full-size over-ear. The extra inch gives larger headphones room to sit without the headband being forced down. At 8.6 by 7.5 inches across, it also has enough floor space for wider ear cups.
The shell is rigid EVA with a soft velvet lining, and the mesh pocket takes a cable or a small adapter without crowding the headphones. We like the carrying handle more than we expected; it makes the case easy to pull out of a backpack by feel. The trade-off is bulk: this is not the case to choose if you want a slim sleeve for a commuter bag.
What separates it from the compact LTGEM is the sense of room inside. The smaller case is lighter for folded headphones, but it has a tighter envelope. If you own Audio-Technica ATH-M20x, JBL Tune 720BT/770NC, Raycon, or Soundcore Q-series cups, this is the one we reach for first. The case holds its shape when packed under a jacket, and the rigid walls do not collapse around the cups.
We recommend it as the default for full-size over-ear headphones because it protects the parts that matter—the cups and headband—without making you fold them into a shape they do not want to hold. It is not the smallest case here, and that is the point.

- Rigid EVA shell with soft velvet lining
- Mesh pocket keeps cables separate
- Carry handle makes it easy to pull from a bag
Cons
- No listed manufacturer warranty
For full-size over-ears, this LTGEM is our default: the deep interior and rigid shell protect the cups without forcing the headband flat.
